We're a bunch of festival-mad Cumbrians who wanted to set up a site dedicated to the thriving live music scene in the county and provide you with a one-stop shop for fest information for all the music events in and around Cumbria prior to festival season kicking off.

Maryport had the blues
The 12th Maryport Blues Festival saw the small harbour town come alive from July 23 as more than 40 bands and 150 musicians from all over the world descend on it to showcase the best in blues music over three days.

Probably the best Solfest in its history. . . .
Sunshine, music and cider were the order of the day at the three-day festival at Tarns, near Aspatria.
